Engineer jobs in the USA
Engineer jobs on yachts are in high demand and command some of the best salaries in the industry. A yacht engineer is responsible for engine maintenance, generator servicing, water makers, air conditioning, electrical systems, and general mechanical upkeep on board. Engineer positions range from second engineer on mid sized vessels to chief engineer on superyachts over 80 metres. Salaries for yacht engineers typically range from 5,000 to 11,000 euros per month depending on yacht size and ticket level. An STCW basic training certificate, an ENG1 medical, and an engineering qualification such as Y4 or MEOL are usually required. CreWave posts fresh engineer jobs every day from Antibes, Palma, Fort Lauderdale, and across the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
